Martyrium Christi beginnings date back to the second half of 1994. At that time a first line-up - Radek Winkler (percussion), Radek Pučelík (bass), Karel Petr Tomasek and Kalčík (guitars), after nearly two years in October 1996 issued the first appearance in the city of Ceske Budejovice, in Vrtule club.
